One: Boomerang Street
The brief:
This unique Kingscliff townhouse was situated in a sought-after location just 2 minutes from the beach however had been unsuccessfully sitting on the market as a vacant property. Originally listed at $980k, the townhouse was failing to generate serious enquiries. With the homeowner now considering reducing the asking price to $950k he decided to engage a real estate agent who immediately recommended staging the property - advised that by doing so, he could actually increase the price point and maximise its value. Wild Rabbit Interiors came on board to furnish the home with just a one week turnaround time (luckily we love a challenge!).
The concept:
Inspired by organic overtones and natural textures, we used an earthy palette of whites, timbers and olive green to complement the architectural design and rainforest surrounds of the home. Keeping the Kingscliff location in mind, we focused on creating a modern beachside haven for potential buyers to envisage an idyllic coastal lifestyle.
We styled the living areas and bedrooms with a custom furniture hire package, including a mix of linen, rattan, oak and leather for a fresh, effortless look. Potted plants and greenery were used consistently throughout each room to bring the outdoors in while soft furnishings, artworks and textiles helped to create a tranquil sanctuary for buyers to resonate with.
Property results:
After strategically staging the property to maximise its appeal, a new real estate campaign was rolled out and the home successfully sold for $1.05million (a $70,000 increase on the original asking price). A fantastic result for a very happy client!
